First off I love the cover of this book. It is so pretty. I did enjoy this one quiet a lot.. But... I feel like it was missing something, I wanted more from it. I enjoyed the whole concept and setting, a beautiful place was created. I wanted it explored more.

The characters were interesting. But none of them really stood out to me. I feel like we didn't get to know them all that well. There was one character I was interested in but he got killed off quiet early in the story so that bummed me out. And it also seemed that no one in the story cared he died so that made me sad. I wanted to enjoy the characters more but they just didn't jump out at me.

Isabel is such a strong kick ass character but at the same time she is struggling to figure out who or what she is. This made it hard to connect or even understand her some of the times. I think there is more to story that could be told. I feel it is just the beginning and it could get really good from here. There is a hint of romance but not really and that is one thing that I think could have helped me connect a bit more with the characters and the story.

Don't get me wrong I did enjoy the book and I think you should read it.
